Structure of UCTM
University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy is a State High School, which was established over 70 years ago. It has been preserved the best traditions of the chemical and metallurgical education in Bulgaria.
THE COMMON ASSEMBLY of UCTM
The Common Assembly of UCTM is the highest collective authority. All habilitated members of academic staff take part of the Common assembly as well as representatives of the non-habilitated staff, personnel, students and Ph.D. students with a specific quota.

ACADEMICAL COUNCIL
The Academic Council is collective authority which has to control the education, scientific, applied and other affairs at UCTM. It must be elected by the Common Assembly of the university and consists of 25 up to 39 members, where not fewer than 70 % are habilitated academic staff and not fewer than 15 % are students and Ph.D. students. The rector is a member of the Academic Council and the chair.
